Made with only four simple ingredients and ready in under five minutes!
A pumpkin milkshake. This might sound like an unexpected combo. But when you live in the south, it is still hot when pumpkin spice season comes around so creating a refreshing way to enjoy our fall favorite is a must. And this milkshake does just that! A super easy dessert that only requires four ingredients, NO oven, and takes our most favorite fall flavor and turns it into a treat that we can enjoy all year long! We don’t need chilly fall nights to be able to enjoy our pumpkin spice anymore.

Ingredients You’ll Need for your Pumpkin Pie Milkshake:
- Vanilla Ice Cream – every good milkshake starts with ice cream! And we used a vanilla base to add some sweetness without overpowering our flavor. Any brand you love should work!
- Milk – I used whole milk in my milkshake in order to create the creamiest milkshake possible. But you can use any milk you prefer!
- Pumpkin Puree – can’t have a pumpkin milkshake without some pumpkin! Not only does the pumpkin add to the flavor, it helps the consistency and adds some great nutrients to your shake too 😉
- Puremade Pumpkin Pie Sauce – A sauce like this one makes this recipe so easy because it adds sweetness and flavor all in one.
Tips for the Perfect Pumpkin Pie Milkshake:
- Don’t add too much milk! When I was doing some research for this recipe, every milkshake out there seemed to have a lot more milk and a lot less ice cream than this one. I don’t know if those people like runny milkshakes, but you don’t need more than what I put below to get the perfect, thick, milkshake consistency.
- If your milkshake is too runny – just add more ice cream until you get the thickness you want! And then taste and add more Torani Puremade Pumpkin Pie Sauce if needed to get the flavor just right.
- If your milkshake is too thick – just add more milk!
- If your milkshake tastes too vanilla – add more Torani Puremade Pumpkin Pie Sauce until you get a strong enough flavor.
- Blend on low – this will help your milkshake stay thick. We don’t want to obliterate it by blending on too high of speeds! Slow and steady wins this milkshake race.

Ingredients
Pumpkin Pie Milkshake:
- 3 cups vanilla ice cream
- 1/4 cup whole milk
- 1/2 cup pumpkin puree
- 1/4 cup Pumpkin Pie Sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
Optional Sugar Rim:
- 1/2 tablespoon pumpkin spice
- 1/4 cup sugar
- Also optional -some whipped cream to top with!
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients together in a blender and blend until combined.
- Optional: combine pumpkin spice and sugar in a small bowl, dip the top of your glass in water, and then dip in the bowl for a sugared rim!
- Optional: dollop with some whipped cream
