Pumpkin spice season is upon us but it is still 90 degrees outside so get into the fall spirit with this pumpkin pie milkshake that takes your favorite autumn flavor and turns it into a creamy and refreshing dessert that will help cool you down.  Made with only four simple ingredients and ready in under five minutes!


Ingredients

Pumpkin Pie Milkshake:

  • 3 cups vanilla ice cream
  • 1/4 cup whole milk
  • 1/2 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1/4 cup Pumpkin Pie Sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice

Optional Sugar Rim:

  • 1/2 tablespoon pumpkin spice
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • Also optional -some whipped cream to top with!

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients together in a blender and blend until combined.
  2. Optional: combine pumpkin spice and sugar in a small bowl, dip the top of your glass in water, and then dip in the bowl for a sugared rim!
  3. Optional: dollop with some whipped cream

Notes

If you are feeling really fun (and are over 21) add a shot or two of your favorite bourbon!
