This mocktail uses the fresh flavors of summer to bring you the most refreshing drink you’ve had all season. Made with only three ingredients and no added sugar, it is the perfect healthy way to cool down your day.
Helllllo summertime bliss! I realized two things as I am writing this. One, I haven’t posted a drink recipe in foreverrrr. I will work on that! Also, the majortiy of my drink recipes include watermelon 😛 oops! I guess you could say it is a favorite of mine. It is just so refreshing and summery and perfect to make the best drinks! And this one is no exception.
This watermelon coconut refresher is the perfect blend of sweet and tangy, thanks to the combo of watermelon, coconut, and lime. The only three ingredients you need to make this! And they are all natural so it is a drink you can feel good about.
I also have a couple options for you because who doesn’t like options?
Like your drinks bubbly – top this off at the end with some club soda. Club soda has zero calories and zero sugar so it is the perfect addition to just add some fizz! (Note this is NOT TRUE for tonic water – lots of sugar and calories – I think a lot of people don’t realize this so I always like to make sure I share!)
If you want to make this really fun – feel free to add an ounce of your favorite alcohol and make this your new weekend cocktail! I think the best options would probably be vodka or gin (I personally love gin). But I also feel like tequila would probably taste great with this! So feel free to play around with it and let me know what you think when you do.
Lastly, if you leave this sitting too long just know that the watermelon will sink to the bottom. Don’t be alarmed! All you need to do is stir it back up 🙂 That’s how you know it’s fresh!
