Homemade walnut butter is creamy and flavorful, made with only raw walnuts, vanilla extract, and spice. No added sugars or oils and no baking required. Enjoy it on top of breads, muffins, with fruit, or straight from the spoon.

- 3 cups raw shelled walnuts
- vanilla extract
- cinnamon
- nutmeg
- salt
Instructions
- Blend everything in your food processor, scraping down sides periodically, until a butter forms (it takes a little while so be patient – it is working!)
Notes
If you want a sweeter/nuttier taste but a coarser butter, use toasted walnuts by baking in the oven at 350F for about 8 minutes.
