Description

These giant cookies and cream cookies are stuffed with an Oreo and rolled in cookie crumbs for an irresistible treat!


Ingredients

Scale
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
  • ¾ cup brown sugar
  • ¼ cup white sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups flour
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 (6.5oz) cookies and cream candy bar

  • 14.3oz package of Oreo cookies


Instructions

  1. In a large bowl cream together the butter and both sugars until fluffy.
  2. Beat in the egg and vanilla.
  3. Add in the flour, baking powder and salt.
  4. Mix until just combined. The dough will be very crumbly.
  5. Chop up the candy bar and stir into the dough.
  6. Divide the dough into 6 equal portions and form each portion into a ball.  Just until it comes together.
  7. Press an Oreo in the middle of each one and form the dough ball around it.
  8. Crush up all the remaining Oreos and place into a bowl.
  9. Next press the crushed up Oreos all over the top and sides of the cookies.
  10. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  11. Meanwhile preheat the oven to 375 degrees.
  12. Bake the cookies for 18 minutes.
  13. Cool 5 minutes and then transfer to a rack.
