  • 1 cup light brown sugar (packed)
  • 2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup all purpose flour

For the Ganache

  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1 1/2 cup Valentine’s Day sprinkles

Instructions

For the Brownies

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and spray a 9×13 baking pan with non-stick spray

  2. Using a large bowl, whisk together the melted butter, oil, and sugars

  3. Whisk in the eggs and 2 tsp of vanilla extract

  4. Using a second large bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa, salt and baking powder

  5. Gradually whisk in the dry ingredients into the wet

  6. Fold in the chocolate chips

  7. Pour batter into the prepared baking pan and bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Allow to cool completely

For the Ganache

  1. Using a small pot, bring the heavy cream to a boil

  2. Pour over the chocolate chips in a medium bowl and let sit for 1 minute. Whisk until smooth

  3. Spread the ganache evenly onto the brownies. Sprinkle Valentine’s Day Sprinkles on top of the ganache

  4. Allow the ganache to set before cutting into bars. Enjoy with a large glass of milk
