Ingredients
Scale
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter (softened)
- 3/4 cup light brown sugar, firmly packed
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 cup white chocolate chips
- Neon green, orange, and purple food coloring
- Halloween sprinkles
Instructions
- In a large bowl, use a hand mixer or stand mixer to cream together the butter and both sugars until fluffy. Then, beat in the egg and vanilla.
- Add in the flour, baking powder, and salt. Mix until just combined. The dough will be very crumbly.
- Stir in the white chocolate chips.
- Divide the dough into three equal portions. Add the neon green food coloring to the first portion, orange food coloring to the second, and purple to the third.
- Take a small portion of each of the three colored doughs and roll together to form a ball. You want the colors to swirl together, not completely mix. Repeat the process until you’ve used up all the dough.
- Roll the tops and sides of the cookie dough in your Halloween sprinkles and place on a greased cookie sheet. Refrigerate the dough for 30 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.
- Remove the baking sheet from the fridge, and then bake the cookies for 15-18 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
- Let cool for 5 minutes on the baking sheet and then transfer to a rack to cool completely.
