Ingredients

- 4 cups powdered sugar
- 6 oz cream cheese, softened
- 4 teaspoons butter (softened)
- 1 teaspoon peppermint extract
- red and green food coloring
Instructions
- Combine all of the ingredients in the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with a paddle attachment.
- Beat together for 3 minutes to ensure that the mixture is completely smooth.
- Use the handle of a spoon or a toothpick to place 3 lines of red or green food coloring in a piping bag fitted with a star tip.
- The lines should be up and down the length of the bag and not sideways.
- Fill the bag ¾ full with the mint mixture.
- Lay a sheet of parchment paper down.
- Hold the piping bag at a 90 degree angle above the parchment paper.
- Pipe little swirls onto the parchment, making sure none of them touch, until all of the mint mixture is used.
- These mints can be as large or as small as you would like.
