Gluten Free
The BEST chocolate chip pumpkin bread recipe made with real pumpkin puree, lots of chocolate chips, and sweet cinnamon spice. This gluten free pumpkin bread is moist and flavorful and a healthier option to the traditional treat.
Ingredients
- 2 cups gluten free all purpose flour
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp ginger
- 1/2 tsp nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 2 eggs
- 1.25 cup pumpkin puree
- 1/4 cup greek yogurt
- 1/4 cup + 2 tbsp Torani Pumpkin Pie Puremade Sauce
- 1 cup chocolate chips + more for topping
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350F.
- Mix dry ingredients together in a mixing bowl.
- In a separate bowl, mix wet ingredients.
- Slowly add dry ingredients to wet, whisking as you go.
- Fold in chocolate chips.
- Pour in a greased bread loaf pan, top with additional chocolate chips.
- Bake for about 45 minutes, until the bread is firm to the touch, and a toothpick comes out clean.
Notes
*Bake times may vary by oven. Check yours with a toothpick after 45 minutes, and after one hour, removing from oven if it comes out clean. If it is still not cooked, then follow instructions and cover with foil to bake 20 more minutes. This will allow middle to cook without burning the top.
This is also great when made with whole wheat flour if you don’t need it to be gluten free!
