What could make banana bread more true to its name than using banana flour? Turns out, it makes it more delicious too! This chocolate banana bread is moist and decadent, gluten free, and surprisingly healthy too!

- 3 very ripe bananas
- 2 eggs
- 2 tablespoons coconut oil, melted and cooled
- 1/4 cup almond milk or dairy milk
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup banana flour
- 1/3 cup cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375F.
- Mash bananas with a fork until most lumps are gone, and then add eggs, milk coconut oil, and almond milk and mix until well combined.
- Stir in the remaining ingredients, and then fold in chocolate chips (use as much as you want for these!).
- Pour batter in a greased bread pan, and top with additional chocolate chips if desired.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until the edges are browning, a toothpick should come out relatively clean.
- Let cool before removing from pan.
