Description

Gluten Free, Vegan, Refined Sugar Free

A light and soft pie crust made with only three grain free and vegan ingredients building the perfect base to any pie that everyone can enjoy.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 1/2 cup tapioca flour
  • 2 tbsp ground flax seeds
  • 5 tbsp water
  • dash of salt


Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients together in a bowl and stir until a dough forms.
  2. Cool in the fridge for about 20 minutes.
  3. Roll out on a sheet of parchment paper to get it big and thin enough to place into a 9in pie pan.
  4. Gently transfer to the pan, pressing against the sides.
  5. If you are making a pie you will bake – bake alone for 15 minutes at 400F to prep, then cook with pie.
  6. If you are making a no bake pie – bake pie crust alone for about 25 minutes until edges start to brown.

Notes

Optional to add a tsp of dry sweetener (stevia, cane sugar, coconut sugar) if you want a sweetened crust.
