Description
This spinach and artichoke hummus is an easy, delicious, and flavorful appetizer! It makes a great healthy snack and it’s perfect for shairng.
Ingredients

- 1 (15.5 oz) can chickpeas, drained
- 1/2 cup artichoke hearts, drained
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons water
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin
- 1 tablespoon nutritional yeast flakes
- 1/2 cup fresh baby spinach, chopped
- A few dashes of cayenne pepper
- Optional: extra olive oil for drizzling on top
- Something to serve it with! (veggies, pita, crackers, etc.)
Instructions
- Combine the chickpeas, olive oil, lemon juice, garlic salt, water, garlic, cumin, salt, nutritional yeast, and cayenne to your food processor. Pulse until smooth.
- Add in your spinach and artichokes.
- Pulse until blended well.
- Taste and season with additional salt/cayenne/etc to get to your desired spice if necessary.
- Serve with veggies (I love it with celery or carrots), crackers, pita, or whatever you want!
