Instructions
- Combine the blueberries, water, and sugar in a medium-sized saucepan.
- Cook the mixture over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the sugar has dissolved and the blueberries have burst and released their juices, about 5-10 minutes.
- Remove the saucepan from the heat and let the mixture cool for a few minutes.
- Strain the syrup through a fine-mesh strainer or cheesecloth, pressing down on the blueberries to extract all of the juice.
- Let the syrup cool to room temperature before using it in your cocktails.
