Description

Gluten Free, Vegan, Refined Sugar Free

This healthy edible brownie batter is chocolatey and smooth, flavorful and tasty.  It is also eggless, vegan, gluten free, and refined sugar free!  Packed with plant based protein it actually makes for a healthy snack 😉 who said brownies can’t be good for you!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 15.5oz can chickpeas
  • 1/2 cup cashew butter
  • 1/3 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/4 cup agave
  • 2 tbsp cold brew
  • a couples dashes of salt

Instructions

  1. Drain and rinse your chickpeas, and then remove the skins by gently squeezing them between your fingers to get the skins to separate.  Yes this is tedious, but I promise it results in a much smoother final texture!
  2. Combine your chickpeas, cashew butter, cocoa powder, agave, cold brew, and salt in a food processor and blend until smooth.
  3. Fold in the chocolate chips, and enjoy!  You can eat it straight from the spoon, with apples, or on top of cookies!

Notes

For this to be vegan you need to make sure your chocolate chips are vegan.

You can probably use any drippy nut butter for this, but I have only used cashew butter.

You can probably use maple syrup in place of agave, but I have also not tried that.
