Description

Gluten Free, Vegan

Nothing is more refreshing on a hot day than a cold glass of sweet tea.  This recipe takes it up a notch by adding our favorite peach flavor in a simple and natural way.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 cups of water
  • 3 NUMI organic breakfast blend tea bags
  • 3/41 cup Torani Puremade Peach Syrup
  • Optional: 1 fresh peach

Instructions

  1. Optional: start by taking 1/2 of your peach, cutting it into slices, and putting in the freezer.  These slices will act as your ice cubes to keep your drink cold without watering it down!
  2. Pour water into a small pot, bring to a simmer.  Then remove from heat and add tea bags. Let steep for about 5 minutes, until it reaches your desired strength (I usually do closer to ten minutes personally).
  3. While still warm, add your Torani Puremade Peach Syrup and stir until well combined.  Start with 3/4 cup, taste, and add more if desired.
  4. Optional: Take the second half of your peach and cut it into two fourths.  Place each on the bottom of a glass, and muddle.
  5. Once your tea has cooled, pour it into your glasses, add peach “ice cubes” and enjoy!

Notes

The fresh peaches are optional but highly encouraged – adds a little more flavor and makes it more fun!

I like to put closer to 1 full cup of syrup in mine.

You could enjoy this as a hot tea too!
