- 2 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce (I used a vegetarian friendly Worcestershire sauce.)
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon dried dill
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 cup finely chopped pecans
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, chopped green onions, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, dill, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Using your hands or a spatula, shape the mixture into a ball.
- Place the chopped pecans on plate.
- Roll the cheese ball in the chopped pecans, pressing gently to make sure the pecans stick to the cheese.
- Wrap the cheese ball in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or until firm.
- When ready to serve, place the cheese ball on a serving platter and serve with crackers, sliced baguette, or celery sticks.
