Description

These easy cheese ball recipes is a classic party snack! It’s a great make-ahead option for when you’re hosting and your guests will love the creamy, tangy flavor!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce (I used a vegetarian friendly Worcestershire sauce.)
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried dill
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped pecans

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, chopped green onions, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, dill, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  2. Using your hands or a spatula, shape the mixture into a ball.
  3. Place the chopped pecans on plate.
  4. Roll the cheese ball in the chopped pecans, pressing gently to make sure the pecans stick to the cheese.
  5. Wrap the cheese ball in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or until firm.
  6. When ready to serve, place the cheese ball on a serving platter and serve with crackers, sliced baguette, or celery sticks.
