Peppermint Meringues Recipe

You will need egg whites,tartar, caster sugar, pure peppermint extract and red gel food coloring.

Beat the egg whites until fluffy. Add sugar, extract and cream of tartar and continue beating until peaks form.

Pipe 1 inch thick meringues on a baking sheet.

Bake for approximately 65 minutes, then allow to cool until stiffened
