How to Make Turtle Brownies
INGREDIENTS NEEDED:

- sugar
- brown sugar
- vanilla
- eggs
- flour
- cocoa powder
- salt
- baking powder
- chocolate chips
- heavy whipping cream
- pecans
- caramel
How to Make Turtle Brownies
Start by mixing together the wet ingredients for the brownies in a bowl. In a separate bowl, mix together the dry ingredients. Gradually add the dry ingredients in with the wet. Fold in chocolate chips. Bake for about 30 minutes.
While the brownies are baking and cooling, bring the heavy cream to a boil in a small saucepan. Pour the warm cream over the chocolate chips in a bowl and let sit for about a minute. Whisk until the chocolate is smooth.
Scoop a small amount of the chocolate into a piping bag. Spread the remaining chocolate on top of the brownies. Scoop the salted caramel into a second piping bag. Sprinkle the pecans, chocolate chips, and caramel bites over the brownies. Drizzle additional chocolate and salted caramel over the brownies. Cut into bars and enjoy!

For the Brownies
- 1 cup unsalted sweet cream butter (melted)
- 2 tbsp canola oil
- 1 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup light brown sugar (packed)
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup all purpose flour
- 1 cup cocoa powder
- 3/4 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
For the Chocolate Ganache
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 1 cup mini chocolate chips
- 1 cup caramel bites
- 1/4 cup salted caramel sauce
Instructions
For the Brownies

Preheat oven to 350 and spray a 9×13 baking pan with pam baking spray

Using a large bowl, whisk together the melted butter, oil, and sugars

Whisk in the eggs and 2 tsp of vanilla extract

Using a separate large bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa, salt and baking powder

Gradually whisk in the dry ingredients into the wet

Fold in the chocolate chips

Pour batter into the baking pan and bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean

Allow to cool completely
For the Chocolate Ganache

Using a small pot, bring the heavy cream to a boil

Pour over the chocolate chips in a medium bowl and let sit for 1 minute

Whisk until smooth

Scoop ¼ C of the ganache into a piping bag

Scoop ¼ C of the salted caramel sauce into a second piping bag

Spread the remaining chocolate ganache onto the top of the brownies

Sprinkle the chopped pecans, mini chocolate chips and caramel bites all over the top of the brownies

Cut the tips off the two piping bags and drizzle both over the brownies
