The BEST Chocolate Peanut Butter Fudge

The perfect melt-in-your-mouth fudge thats made simply with coconut oil, peanut butter, cocoa powder, and sweetened with agave. Easy, healthy, and delicious.

I LOVE fudge.  I grew up in Michigan and we’d always take annual trips to Mackinaw Island (iykyk) and they had the BEST fudge.  I literally looked forward to it year round.  Little did I know it is actually super easy to make your own fudge – and you can do it with healthy ingredients!  This fudge will bring you back to childhood while still catering to your healthy lifestyle.  Win win!

If you love chocolate as much as I do be sure to also check out my chocolate peanut butter banana muffins, my triple chocolate avocado zucchini bread, and my chocolate zucchini brownies.  Chocolate desserts are just the best!

Let’s Make the BEST Chocolate Peanut Butter Fudge!

Alright once you have your ingredients rounded up this recipe is really quite easy!  You are just going to combine them in a small sauce pan, get them all melty, and then pour them in a baking dish and let them re-solidfiy.

I use agave in this as my sweetener, but you can feel free to sub for maple syrup or honey if you prefer.  But I’d only add the amount I used below so you don’t mess with the texture.  If you want it sweeter (feel free to taste as you go!) you can add some dry sweetener (I recommended stevia).  You don’t want to add more sticky sweetener because it could mess with your final product.

I use unsweetened cocoa powder but you could also use cacao powder, just depends what you have on hand.

Lastly, I like storing this in the fridge for the best texture.  It seriously melts in your mouth.  You could also store in the freezer, it will just be harder, and I wouldn’t recommend storing at room temperature.  It gets a little melty 🙂
