These honey sriracha turkey meatballs are THE PERFECT meal prep I kid you not.  So easy to make, so flavorful, and the least boring desk lunch you will ever bring to work.  Starting with a meatball cleaner than most – made with just lean ground turkey, a little almond flour, an egg and your favorite spices – this is a healthier option than most meatballs.  Then adding on the sweet and spicy combo of the sauce that is SO easy to make yet so flavorful – also made with quality ingredients – makes this a flavorful AND HEALTHY meal that you will actually enjoy eating.

Because I know we are all busy bees, after you check this recipe out be sure to try my one pan chili style quinoa – another great easy meal prep.  For another meatball idea, try these crockpot grape jelly and bbq meatballs! Let’s Make Honey Sriracha Turkey Meatballs!

These are going to be the easiest meal prep you ever do.  All you need is some turkey, an egg, a little almond flour, and some spices for your meatballs.  While those cook you go ahead and make your sauce, and within 30 minutes you’ve got yourself lunch.

I have not tried this with any flour besides almond flour so I cannot speak to any subs that would work for it – if you do try it with something else be sure to let me know how it turns out!

If you are not a spice kinda person, you can use less sriracha.  Not too much less cause then it will mess with the consistency.  Or always sub for a less strong hot sauce!

I recommend corn starch to help thicken the sauce. It’ll help it stick to the meatballs better.  But if you aren’t about it, you can leave it out.

The meatballs might look a little less cooked than when you are making ground turkey – don’t be alarmed!  It is because they are not getting direct contact with the pan (which I think is actually why these are SO juicy!).  Just break one open and make sure there is no pink in there and you are good to go.

In addition to the listed ingredients, you will need:

  • a big mixing bowl
  • a sauce pan
  • something to stir with
  • parchment paper

I like to pair mine with some quinoa and greens to make a full meal with (hence what you see in the pictures) but you could always eat them by themselves as an app or even make a meatball sub!
