Chocolate barks are one of my favorite treats to throw together last minute for any party – they are so quick and require minimal effort!  And this one uses white chocolate, red cranberries, and green pumpkin seeds to bring a festive look for the holidays!  And then we swirl in some nut butter  to make it extra fun and because when is nut butter not a good idea??

You can make this the day of an event and have it ready to go!  If you need some other good last minute/easy holiday dishes be sure to check out my no bake gingerbread cookies, my superfood Christmas cookies, and for something different you should check out my air fried apples!

Let’s Make Some Holiday Nut Butter Bark!

So first you just need to get some baking chocolate.  You are going to want to use white chocolate to keep this festive, but you could always do a blend and make a fun swirl if you prefer regular chocolate!  Mix some dark chocolate in this and I think it would be fantastic too.

The biggest trick on this one is to not burn your chocolate.  You are going to want to melt it over VERY LOW heat.  So be patient!  Don’t turn it up just hoping to get done quicker.  Good things come to those who wait!  If you have any way to do a double boiler method that works well too – or could even microwave it!  Just slow and steady 🙂

Then its all about pouring on the toppings! Go as heavy or light as you want.  Feel free to mix in other ingredients and swap out the colors for other holidays you may be celebrating!

In addition to the listed ingredients, you will need:

  • a pan to melt chocolate in
  • a baking dish
  • aluminum foil (or parchment paper should work)
  • a spoon to swirl your nut butter

And then you’ve got your perfect easy, last minute dessert to bring to the Christmas party!
