Healthy Chocolate Martini

The perfect cocktail recipe to celebrate Valentine’s Day!  This healthy chocolate martini is creamy and smooth, made with just a few simple ingredients, and is perfect to share with your galentines or special someone!

I am a hugeee chocolate gal.  And I am known to love a good cocktail as well 🙂 so combining the two is the perfect Valentine’s Day dream for me!  This healthy chocolate martini is creamy and smooth, with just enough alcohol to get you feeling good without falling over, and is made with healthier ingredients you can feel good about.

So whether you are celebrating Galentine’s Day, are with your significant other, or even just enjoying some self love on February 14th, this is the perfect addition to your night!  I mean it is dessert in cocktail form – what is not to love?!

Ingredients You’ll Need for your Healthy Chocolate Martini:

  • Torani Puremade Chocolate Milano Syrup & Torani Puremade Dark Chocolate Sauce – I love these products because they make it SO easy to make the perfect chocolate drink, they have no artificial colors, flavors, or preservatives, and they mix in with the other ingredients so well.  You can find them at torani.com!
  • Oat milk – I used oat milk because it is one of the creamiest dairy free milks, plus to me it has a slightly sweet flavor (even though I use unsweetened!).  You can sub this for any dairy free milk you like.
  • Irish cream liqueur – this makes your Valentine’s Day cocktail a little more boozy without drinking straight vodka.  It is creamy and delicious but still has a little bite! You can also sub this with chocolate liqueur. 
  • Vodka – you can’t have a martini without some vodka!

Tips for the Perfect Healthy Chocolate Martini:

  • Get the ingredients – this healthy chocolate martini would not be complete without the Torani sauce and syrup.  They make it so easy to make, and so delicious because they blend so seamlessly.  So go check them out at Torani.com and get you some before diving into this one!
  • Shaken, not stirred – I am a big cocktail shaker.  I think it helps everything blend together a lot better.  So I recommend going that route.  But if you are super partial to stirring, don’t let that sit in your way of enjoying this martini 😉
  • Liqueur optional – the first time I made this, I just used oat milk, the Torani sauce and syrup, and vodka.  And I LOVED it.  But I decided I wanted to make it a little more alcoholic and add a little more depth to the flavor so I decided to add the Irish cream liqueur.  If you don’t have that available though, feel free to enjoy this without it!
  • Liquor optional – if you love chocolate but not alcohol, feel free to enjoy this without it! It is basically the best chocolate milk you’ve ever had 🙂

In addition to the listed ingredients, you will need:

  • a cocktail shaker
  • ice
  • martini glasses

The perfect cocktail recipe to celebrate Valentine’s Day!  This healthy chocolate martini is creamy and smooth, made with just a few simple ingredients, and is perfect to share with your galentines or special someone!


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 tbsp Torani Puremade Chocolate Milano Syrup
  • 2 tbsp Torani Puremade Dark Chocolate Sauce
  • 5 oz oat milk
  • 1.5 oz gluten free vodka
  • 1.5 oz Irish cream liqueur*

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients in a shaker with ice.
  2. Shake to combine and chill, and then pour into a martini glass.

Notes

*If you don’t have Irish cream liqueur you can also use a chocolate liqueur.  If you don’t have either of these, you can add more vodka, or omit!

To ensure this is gluten free – make sure the vodka and other liqueurs you use are gluten free!

To ensure this is vegan – make sure the liqueurs you use are vegan, or omit and add more vodka in its place 😉 or omit and add extra oat milk.
