No more lists of 50 ingredients, here you get the chicken tenders and sauce we all love from Chick Fil A but made much healthier and possibly even tastier too – try them out and judge for yourself!

Alright now who in the world doesn’t like Chick Fil A?? Okay actually I have a confession to make. Before I moved to Georgia I lived in Michigan (and we didn’t have Chick Fil A there then) and we came down for a spring break to visit my uncle here in Atlanta. We went to CFA and I didn’t like it! Ahhh crazy I know. But I got the chicken nuggets and I actually still don’t like those so I stand by that.
BUT I love their tenders. Which is why I chose them to copy cat! It is funny to me that since CFA is nice we all think of it as a healthy place to eat. Then news hit about the list of over 50 ingredients that make up their sandwich. No bueno. Here we make copy cat Chick Fil A chicken tenders that dare I say challenge the real deal and they are made with less than TEN ingredients. Plus they are all good ones, you know, things you know and can pronounce. Like almond flour, spices, and so forth.
So join me on the dark side and you may find yourself ordering out less. Best part? You can have them on Sunday 😉

Lets Make Some Copy Cat Chick Fil A Tenders and Sauce!
Alright first and foremost, I learned a cool new trick recently when it comes to cooking with chicken tenderloins that I think is pretty life changing. If you want to check that out before you get going head over to my Instagram account and look at the “Hacks” highlight.
Now that your tenderloins are ready to go you want to combine them in a bowl with your pickle juice and milk. I left mine overnight but if you do at least a few hours I am sure that will be fine. I used almond milk but you can probably use any sub for that!
Other than that this is pretty straightforward and the directions below should get you there. I always use my grill pan for meals like this because it gives me that nice grill feel indoors – but you can use a regular pan as well!
In addition to the listed ingredients you will need:
- a bag or bowl to marinade your tenders
- Two bowls for dipping
- Paper towels to pat your tenderloins dry
- a bowl for your sauce
I hope you enjoy these all week long, even on Sundays!
