Your Thanksgiving has never looked so good thanks to this cinnamon sugar apple butter cider. It is the perfect blend of fall flavors, made with minimal simple ingredients, and thanks to Torani’s syrup it is perfectly sweetened yet still refined sugar free! I love this drink as a night cap on a cool fall night, or to make a bigger batch to serve at Friendsgiving or my family dinners. It is perfectly spiced and so easy to make. It can be a cocktail or mocktail so however you like it, it is ready to please!
And while your cocktail is obviously one of the most important parts of any holiday get together, I of course couldn’t leave you hanging on the rest of your Thanksgiving dinner. So here are some of my favorite side dishes for the big day (because side dishes are my other favorite part of any meal). Be sure to check out my healthy stuffing, mashed cauliflower “potatoes,” my apple pie crisp, and my sweet potato souffle. You and your guests will not be disappointed!

Let’s Make Some Cinnamon Sugar Apple Butter Ciders!
So first we should probably start with the apple butter. I have two recipes you can use – my crockpot apple butter, or my stovetop apple butter. The crockpot one is great because it does all the work for you, but the stovetop recipe will get you your finished product quicker. So it is whatever you prefer! I will say though, there is one thing I’d change in my recipe. In my apple butters I don’t peel my apples – because I don’t think it makes much of a difference and the skin is great fiber – BUT if you are making it for this I’d go ahead and peel it. You don’t want little bits of apple skin floating in your drink! Once this is made it will go in your cocktail shaker first.
Next you are going to take your Torani Sugar Free Brown Sugar Cinnamon Syrup and mix it with your apple butter. I love this syrup because it is so easy to use, it blends in with the flavors so well, and it sweetens my drink with simple ingredients and ZERO refined sugar. Win! To get yours head over to Torani’s site and be sure to not miss out on 10% off their flavors of the month each month!
Then if you are making this a virgin drink, you will just add water and shake. If you are making a cocktail add a shot of bourbon and a few drops of bitters. I personally think bourbon is the best liquor for this flavor profile (and I am not even a bourbon drinker!) but if you prefer another you can try it and let me know what you think!
Then shake it on up, pour it over some ice, top with your soda water and bam you are done! This recipe makes about two servings so it’s perfect for a date night or intimate family dinner (hello Thanksgiving!)
In addition to the listed ingredients you will need:
