The classic 2 ingredient bagel recipe made with greek yogurt and flour made healthier using whole wheat flour, and turned sweet using a vanilla yogurt and cinnamon sugar topping for the ultimate breakfast bagel experience.

Basic 2 Ingredient Bagels:
- 1 cup self-rising flour OR 1 cup whole wheat flour + 2 teaspoons baking powder + 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup vanilla greek yogurt
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)
Optional Toppings:
- 1 egg, whisked
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon granulated sugar or coconut sugar
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
- In a large mixing bowl. add your flour, baking powder, cinnamon and salt and mix to combine.
- Pour in your yogurt, and mix until a dough forms.
- Using your hands, transfer to a flour-covered countertop. Knead for a couple of minutes until everything is well combined and the dough feels firm, and then roll into a ball.
- Using a sharp knife, cut the ball into quarters.
- Take each quarter, and roll into logs until long enough to create a circle. Pinch the ends together with your fingers.
- Place the bagels on a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper.
- In a small bowl, whisk your egg, and then brush it on the top of your bagels. Sprinkle with cinnamon, or with cinnamon mixed with some coconut sugar.
- Bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
- Remove from oven and transfer to a cooling rack until cooled.
